We developed Co-BuyWithMe.com after struggling to get on the property ladder ourselves. Having been faced with the same obstacles that thousands of other people find themselves in (shortfall in deposit and salary!) we overcame these problems by co-buying properties.
We found that other people wanted to do the same, they wanted to co-buy a property either as a first-time-buyer, a second home or purely as an investment - because in each instance it was not financially viable to do it on their own. But they were still struggling to find anyone to co-buy with.
So we set about developing a way of searching for a co-buyer and Co-BuyWithMe.com was born!
Since many people rent with strangers, the concept of co-buying a property with a stranger seemed like an obvious next step. Co-BuyWithMe.com offers a quick and easy way to find the perfect co-buyer free of charge, helping everyone climb aboard the property ladder with ease.
Of course, we’re not saying it will work every time! - but Co-BuyWithMe.com does provide the perfect platform to find a potential co-buyer.

I’ve always believed in the power of numbers - something my bank manager would argue - when I found I simply could not afford to buy my own place I knew I had to buy with others, it was either that or a lottery win. I heard of a couple of other people that were talking about buying their first property and thought - why not!? I co-bought my first property with them and it worked out really well; we agreed to stay there for two years and then play it by ear.
Soon after my first co-buying experience I wanted to invest in a holiday home and again co-buying seemed the best way to do it - reduced investment and reduced risk! A friend and I found a location we wanted to buy in and after a few weeks brought a small group of people together to co-buy a holiday home overseas - and again it worked great!
Almost immediately after co-buying our house in London and the holiday home, loads of people who’d heard about it wanted to get involved and co-buy as well. It was at that point that the seed of Co-BuyWithMe was sown.

Buying your first property is really exciting - as I’ve recently discovered having just co-bought a property in London. There’s no way I could have bought a place on my own but I was sick of renting - and being told off by my landlord every time I hung a photo on the wall!
The co-buying experience has been a dream, it was a really easy process and I love my co-buying housemates to bits…and now I can put up as many photos as I like!
